Default Boyd30 Work-Out- Team Scivation

Okay before I start i have a question.. Is it better to give a new thread on a daily basis or add to one?

Okay for today...

First my diet is going to hell here... Wife nor I have made it to the grocery store to get everything needed. However I am sticking to it as close as possible with the food I have avaialbe. Second I am over due on sending in measurements and photo's... I'll get there.
Anyway here is my work--out for today. Remember I am finishing up the first phase of Bulking for Mesomorphes before tackling Rob wrok-out he sent me. This is the last week of that first phase...

Barbell Bench: Suck today for some reason...

1x15x135 stopping in low postion for a two count...
2x10x185
1x10x190
1x8x205
1x6x205

Incline Dumbbells:

5x60x10... These felt really good compared to the bench..

Dips:

5x10 - Body Weight

Miltiary Press: Seated DUMBELLS WITH THE ARNOLD TWIST.

2X10X42.5
2X8X42.5
1X10X37.5 OUT OF GAS HERE..

SIDE LATERAL RAISES:

5X10X15--- Lighted the load here becuase I was feeling a small pain in my trap still.

Rope crunch:

5x15x130

Seated bench knee-ups

5x15

Don't know why my energy level was so low at the begining of the work-out compared to the middle and end, but made due best I could....

Oh here is a question... I had bought CARB SLAM.... When should I take it. Pre or POST, AND IN EITHER CASE DO i COUNT THAT TOWARDS MY cARB PORTIONS FOR THOSE MEALS?

add to one If you are going to take it, personally i would take it Post WO. And, yes you count it.

Exclamation Week Four Phase One Bulking for Mesomorph-Leg Day

Well this first Phase is coming to an end. Yeah!! Last two weeks have been tough with my injury and just the plain 5 sets.. Thankfully my injury is 95% gone so I am able to hit it harder. Well being leg day and me being a sucker for kicking the crap out of them it was good...

Five sets of kick my a$$ WORK-OUT... I NEEDED IT!!

Barbell Squats: 1x15x135
1x10x245
2x10x265
1x10x275
1x8x300 I think I may have been able to get another.

Leg Extensions/Leg Curls: Squats went well but to spend things up we superseted these

Leg Curls: 5x10x37.5 (Performed one leg at a time on free weight machine)
Leg Extension: 5x10x40 (Performed one leg at a time on free weight machine)

Finished off with Stiff Legged deads and Lunges...BOOOO!!

Stiff Legged Deads: 5x10x135

Lunges: 5x10x95 (Okay I winnied out a little but I was Fried by then)

Not to bad.. Looking at my squats I knoow I am going to blow my 450lbs max out of the water by end of June. AWESOME!!! According to a max calcualtor I have used in the past that has been really accurate the 300lbs for 8, I know I could get 10 fresh... at a 423 Max right know.. Oh Yeah!!!

JUST ANOTHER DAY CLOSER TO DESTROYING ALL GOALS!!!

Default Final Day of that first Phase

Well today was the final phase for the Bulking for Mesomorphs. In all I think that first phase was really good. Baring the injury I got (Now Recovered) everything went really smooth. I think there was some spots I could have hit maybr harder but in all I'll take it.... I saw and felt good progress. In anycase today was the following

Barbbell Curls:

1x10x65
3x10x85
2x8x85

Close Grip Bench - Done on Smith Machine

3x10x185
2x8x195

Dumbbell Curls -Seated

2x10x30
3x8x35

Skull Crushers:

3x10x75
2x10x80

Okay I add to V-BAR Push-Downs here

2x10x80

Seated Calf Raises:

5x10x100

Standing Calf Raises:
5x10x205

Not to bad.. Felt really good got a good pump in the arms and Calves. Can;t wait to hit the new routine... See ya Later....

Monday: 1-26-08

Minus my partner I head to the gym today for the Second Phase of the Bulking for Mesomorphs program..
I Dropped a about a pound after initial gaining 3lbs., but I also dropped a 1% body fat so I take it through the first phase. This phase I am really going to push through the work-outs and even better at the diet (by far my biggest downfall). Anyway here is today’s workout…
Goal: 3 sets for 8 reps per exercise:
Bench Press: 1x15x135 (Deep and Slow)
1x10x185 (Deep and Slow)
2x8x205
1x12x135 (Mix Deep and Slow with some Short in lower Range)
I did 5 but really just the 185, 205 are my 3 sets.. Others warm-up/cool down..

Bent Over Row: 1x12x95
1x10x115
3x8x145
Shrugs: 3x8x155 (Paused at top for one- one thousand count) Careful of not reinjuring of Trap
Military: 1x10x95
1x10x115
3x8x120 (I was searching for the correct amount of weight, Still need a bit heavier)

Close Grip Bench: (Used Smith Machine) 3x8x185
Curls: 1x10x65
1x10x75
3x8x85 (Again searched for the correct weight, really close to what it should be)

Three sets of Knee ups and three sets of rope crunches at 120lbs to finish it up. In all I felt pretty good. The rest time was 2-3mintues between sets was more than enough time to recover.

sounds like you are ready to kick it into this phase..thats the stuff I like to hear..Go time bro! nice workout to get this phase rolling.
